One of my rituals since moving here last year is to get a cup of coffee, sit on a bench and 'people watch'. Kentlands is a great place to see the full diversity of Montgomery County, Maryland. Many ethnicities and generations are represented here by residents as well as businesses. Young singles, young and middle-aged families who live in the apartments, townhouses and single family houses and seniors in the local senior apartments stroll through the walkable neighborhood and often stop to sample the array of restaurants, including Columbian, Chinese, Japanese, Moroccan, French, Italian, Mexican, Thai and more.
